Enhancing Cell Culture Efficiency by Overcoming the Challenges of Cell Culture Contamination and Improving Culture Conditions
This talk will cover the existing method for incubator sterilization, challenges associated with them, economic and production losses due to cell culture contamination, and new technologies to overcome them and improving cell culture efficiency.
The speaker Dr. Jitendra Pant is a cell culture & bioprocess development expert and two times TEDx speaker with 13 years of experience biotechnology that has resulted in 2 FDA approved monoclonal antibodies, 23 publications, one book chapter, 7 patent applications (USPTO) with more than 750 citations (h index=15) in 40 countries. Dr. Pant has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from UGA and postdoc from UMich and has served as PI and Co-I for NIH and CDC funded grants. He has won over 30 national and international awards including UGA40u40, BITS30u30, BMES award and have been acknowledged by ex-Director of CDC Dr. Redfield. Currently he works as the Global Director of Research and Innovation at Caron Scientific where he leads the New Product Development (NPD), and Merger and Acquisition for portfolio expansion.
